First Day Round-Up

Almost all the Ranger beat writers were at opening day of training camp and all have articles for us to read today, the subjects mostly being Jagr, Lundmark, and Blackburn and the Ranger goaltending. The Post cover Lundmark and Blackburn, the News analyzes Blackburn's place in the goaltending hierarchy, the Journal News focuses more specifically on Blackburn, while the Ledger and Newsday look at Jagr's leadership role on and off the ice. The Times has a more omnibus approach to both the Rangers and the NHL, and the Hartford Courant profiles hometown prospect Huge Jessiman.

Scroll down for our coverage of the first day of training camp, and check back later today for an update on Day 2.
